Mrs. Cloie Sue "Bobbie" Maggard Stidam, 80 of Morehead, passed away Saturday afternoon, November 10, 2018 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead after a brief illness. She was born in Carter County, Kentucky on November 29, 1937 to the late John and Ethel Holbrook Maggard.
Bobbie attended the Clearfield Tabernacle First Church of God and enjoyed quilting, embroidery, reading, card games, board games and spending time with her family. She had worked at Cowden Manufacturing, Life Care Center and the Morehead Treatment Center.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Stidam on December 22, 2016, a son, Dwayne Stidam and a daughter, Kennietha Gail Barnett. Also, three brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include two sons; Glennis Ray Lowe and his wife Rhonda and Johnnie Lee Stidam and his wife Rhonda all of Morehead. Two daughters, Luglenda Sue McClain and her husband Paul of Morehead and Donna Shay Johnson and her husband Jesse of Gallipolis, Ohio. A special friend of 50 years, Cheryl Abner Wallace. Fifteen grandchildren, forty-three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Cecil Ison officiating.
Private burial will be in the Maggard Cemetery in Carter County.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday.
