Mr. Claude Kennith Brown, 92, of Morehead, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at his home.
He was born on December 6, 1927 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of the late George W. and Sadie Clark Brown.
Mr. Brown was a retired metal fabricator and United States Army Air Corps Veteran, having served during World War II.
He was a member of the Corbie Ellington American Legion Post No. 126 and he enjoyed gardening, deer hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Fultz Brown, his son, Kenneth Brown, four brothers, Willie Brown, Ernest Brown, Wilford Ray Brown and Harold Brown and six sisters, Grace Yoder, Geraldine Crum, Wilma Hadwin, Flora Logan, Juanita Cooper and Madeline Sewell.
Survivors include his daughter, Sonja Guenther of Littleton, Colorado, daughter-in-law, Pamela Brown of New Paris, Ohio, one brother, Fred Brown of Morehead, one sister, Geneva Whittle of Morehead, two grandsons, Colin Guenther and Lee Guenther, two great-grandchildren, Ayden Guenther and Carson Guenther and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 20, 2020 at the Clark Cemetery at Cranston with Rev. Willie Sturgill officiating.
Full military rites will be conducted at the graveside by the Corbie Ellington American Legion Post No. 126.
There is no visitation.
Pallbearers will be members of the Corbie Ellington American Legion Post No. 126.
