Mrs. Christine Walsh Knaus, 89, of Dayton, Ohio formerly of Morehead, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010 at her home.
She was born on August 27, 1920 in Elliottville, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Reese Green Walsh and Vertie Kissinger Walsh.
Mrs. Knaus was a retired employee of Dayton State Hospital. She enjoyed raising flowers and taking care of her little dog.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Gene Hall, two brothers, Arnold Walsh and Earl Walsh and four sisters, Leona Cunningham, Gretle Brown, Madeline Hutton and Juanita Wilson.
Survivors include one son, Bill Hall and his wife, Gaythal of Morehead, one daughter, Phyllis Dyer and her husband, Jimmy of Dayton, Ohio, daughter-in-law, Kay Hall of Morehead, one sister, Avanelle McDaniel of Crestline, Ohio, seven grandchildren, James Dyer, Debra Dyer, Rita Click, Donnie Hall, David Hall, Rhonda Childers and Christi Moore, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM. Sunday, May 2, 2010 at the Prince Cemetery at Elliottville.
There is no visitation.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is caring for all arrangements.
