Mrs. Christine McCarty Clark, Age 82 of Morehead, passed away Saturday evening in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center after an illness of several weeks.
She was born April 23, 1932 in Estill County, Kentucky to the late Lon and Annabelle Reynolds McCarty.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ewing Clark on January 9, 1995 and three brothers, Victor, Omer and Ival.
Christine retired from Cowden Manufacturing after 40 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren and cooking, yard sales and watching TV.
Survivors include one son, Clifton Lee Clark and one daughter, Nancy Ann Lewis (Fred Jenkins) all of Clearfield, Kentucky.
Two Grandchildren, Belinda (Colby) Gose and Kelly (Dewayne) McElhaney.
Five Grandchildren, Jeffrey McElhaney, Brooke McElhaney, Candice McElhaney, Brenna Holbrook and Cody Holbrook.
Also a special friend, Effie Holbrook.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Carlos Bowman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery.
Visitation at Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home is after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday.
Pall Bearers will be Dewayne McElhaney, Jeffrey McElhaney, Colby Gose, Randy Skeens, Ray Jenkins, Dale Robertson and Johnnie Cline.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be Pete McCarty, Timmy McCarty, Don McCarty, Brooke McElhaney, Candice McElhaney, Brenna Holbrook and Cody Holbrook.
