Carl Campbell

Carl Wayne Campbell. 71 of Morehead, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020 at his home after an extended illness. He was born in Fairborn, Ohio on July 5, 1949 to the late Cecil Campbell and Dorothy Nickols.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Jean Deal Campbell and twin grandsons, Draven and Daimen Royse.

Carl was a former maintenance worker for the State of Ohio  Parks System and was a United States Army Veteran having served during Vietnam. He was a Christian and enjoyed watching old movies, drawing, history of the Vietnam Era and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren.  He  also enjoyed doing card tricks and playing the harmonica and banjo.

Survivors  include two daughters, Amber Jones and Nickie Campbell both of Morehead, one sister, Pam Lane of Columbus, Ohio, five grandchildren, Wyatt Hinton, Savannah Jones, Annabell Seagraves, Dawson Barker and Daniel Johnson. Also one great-grandchild, Sophia Jones. Also, several other cousins and relatives.

Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at the Dawson Cemetery with Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating.

Full military rites will be conducted at the graveside by the Corbie Ellington American Legion Post No. 126.

There is no visitation.
