Billy Ervin Offill, 86, of Olive Hill, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
He was born on July 16, 1931 in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Dewey and Nannie Messer Offill.
Mr. Offill was a truck driver and United States Army Veteran.
He was a member of the American Legion in Olive Hill and was of the Freewill Baptist faith.
Billy was a certified Johnson Boat Mechanic. He enjoyed working in the garage on cars and small engines.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Donny Offill, a daughter-in-law, Diane Offill, four brothers, Daniel Offill, John Dewey Offill, Ralph Offill and an infant brother and one infant sister.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Wilson Offill, two sons, Billy Dale Offill (Edna) of Morehead and Bobby Offill of Olive Hill, one daughter, Susie Thomas (Robert) of Middletown, Ohio, one brother, Robert Offill of Dayton, Ohio, two sisters, Helen Offill and Olive Spiegel both of Newport Beach, Virginia, nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
At his request, there will not be any services or visitation.
The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is caring for all arrangements.
