Billie Conn

Billie Conn, 92, of Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at his home.

He was born on January 6, 1931 in Fleming County, Kentucky, a son of the late Rufus Conn and Laura Lavada (“Vada”) Boyd Conn.

Billie was a retired construction worker having worked for Miller Pipeline and Miller Cable and he was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of VFW 606 in Green Springs, Ohio and Ohio Operators Engineer Local 18 in Toledo, Ohio.

Billie enjoyed gardening, cutting wood and working in flowers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Gary Conn, four brothers, Audrey Conn, Perry Conn, Boyd Conn and Chester Conn and three sisters, Georgia Saunders, Edith Harry and Lucille Schumacher.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Newhouse Conn, one son, Ronald Conn (Dorothy) of Tiffin, Ohio, three daughters, Susie Conn of Bellevue, Ohio, Brenda Conn of New Regal Ohio and Leigh Ann Faulkner (Matt) of Fremont, Ohio, step-daughter, Tonya Whitt of Olive Hill, Kentucky, one brother, Ralph Conn of Fremont, Ohio, eight grandchildren, one step-grandson, one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Friday, June 2, 2023 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
