Billie Jessie Butler, 64, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2008 in the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born on March 2, 1943 in Fleming County, Kentucky, a son of the late Henry Lee and Martha Spurlock Butler.
Mr. Butler was a former sawmill worker. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and baseball.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one step-son, Randy Stegall, two brothers, Howard Butler and Virgil Butler and one sister, Bertha Molton.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Poston Stegall Butler of Morehead, two step-sons, Tim Stegall of Salt Lick and Mark Stegall of Tennessee, two step-daughters, Brenda Adams of Mt. Sterling and Lisa Lowe of Morehead, two brothers, Eddie Butler of Mt. Sterling and Jim Butler of Aurora, Indiana, one sister, Ruby Eldridge of Dayton, Ohio, thirteen step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 13, 2008 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. James Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Goddard Cemetery. Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Rob Nelson, Scott Greenwell, Espy Molton, Eli Stegall, Randy Eldridge and Mike Eldridge.
