Bernard Eugene Beamon

Bernard Eugene Beamon, 66, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at St. Claire HealthCare.

He was born on June 26, 1956 in Bracken County, Kentucky, a son of the late James Alfred Beamon and Avelean Blevins Beamon.

Bernie was a truck driver and United States Army Veteran.

He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and U.K. basketball.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Orville Lee Beamon, Larry Lovas Beamon, Roger Dale Beamon and James Randall Beamon and two sisters, Barbara Ann Higginbothan and Joyce Jacqulin Beamon.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Trent Beamon, four sons, Benjamin Beamon (Heather) of Paris, Kentucky, Josh Beamon (Jerilyn) of Florida, Ashton Beamon of Morehead and Derrick Courtney of Indiana, two brothers, Dennis Ray Beamon of Morehead and Douglas Ronald Beamon of Florida, two sisters, Betty Lou Beamon Perry of Cincinnati, Ohio and Linda S. Luckett of Louisville, Kentucky, six grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 18, 2023 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Rob Kidd officiating.

Burial will follow in the Crix Cemetery with full military rites conducted at the graveside by the Corbie Ellington American Legion Post No. 126.

Visitation is after 12:00 Noon Saturday at the funeral home.   

Pallbearers will be Jordan Beamon, Austin Beamon, Gavin Beamon, Ronnie Beamon, Jerry Beamon, Anthony Beamon, Ben Beamon and Josh Beamon.
