Becca Hall

Ms. Becca Orene Lawson Hall, 75, of Morehead, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at her home.

She was born on March 28, 1944 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Mitchell and Lela Hall Lawson.

Ms. Hall was a retired cook, having worked at several area restaurants.

She was a member of the Clearfield Tabernacle First Church of God and she enjoyed sewing, quilting, embroidery and cooking big meals for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Floyd Lawson, Barney Lawson, Ova Lawson and Jimmy Lawson and two sisters, Lois Lawson and Doris Miller.

Survivors include one son, Samuel Dean Hall (Leslie Wallace) of Morehead, three brothers, Donald Lawson (Janice) of West Elkton, Ohio and Oscar Lawson and Mike Lawson both of Trenton, Ohio, four sisters, Joyce Stacy and Shirley Lawson both of Morehead, Patty Wing of Eaton, Ohio and Marsha Isom of Middletown, Ohio, two grandsons, Kenneth Dean Hall and James Woodrow Hall both of Morehead, special cousin, Almeda Brown of Morehead and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 22, 2019 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Cecil Ison officiating.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
