Beatrice Scott Hunt, 60, of Paintsville, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in the Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.
She was born on January 30, 1953, in Pike County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Fayette Scott and Erma Ward Scott Hensley.
Ms. Hunt was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ Faith.
She loved being a mother and grandmother and enjoyed writing Christian poems, cooking and reading.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Scott and Sam Scott.
Survivors include her daughter, Millicent (Chris) White of Clearfield, one sister, Shirley (Monroe) Keene of Xenia, Ohio, two grandchildren, Caleigh White and Bailey White, special aunt, Sue Anderson of Phyllis, Kentucky, special cousin, Norma May of Phyllis, Kentucky, special family members, Bonnie Justice, Jan Tyrrell, Ron (Carla) Hunt and Bill Hunt and countless friends and caregivers in the Paintsville area.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Brother Jim Abshire, Brother Dewayne Abshire and Brother Ron Hunt officiating.
Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery.
Visitation is after 12:00 Noon Saturday.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
