Arthur Thornsberry

Mr. Arthur Ray Thornsberry, 58 of Lambert Hollow Road, Clearfield, passed away Friday morning, December 27, 2019 at his home after a brief illness.

He was born March 8, 1961 in Floyd County to the late Johnny and Stella Mullins Thornsberry.

Arthur enjoyed fishing, cook outs with his family, bingo and spending time with his family. He was a retired lawn care worker.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ace Thornsberry, Charles Ray Little, Lacy Littleton and a sister, Lucy Hunt.

Survivors include his wife Tamela Kidd Thornsberry, two daughters, Roseanna Mabry and Sueanna Alfrey both of Clearfield. Three step children, Jeffery Clevenger of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Tony Clevenger of Morehead, Kentucky and Linda Clevenger of Morehead. Two sisters, Barbara Sue Littleton of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Dorothy Hall of Pennsylvania. Two grandchildren, Tasha Alfery and Piper Mabry. Eight step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Vernon Lambert officiating.

Burial will follow in the Thornsberry Cemetery in Clearfield.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 11:00 A.M. Monday.

Pall bearers will be Scott Mabry, Jamie Thornsberry, Dwayne Alfrey, Chris Pennington, Dakota Raifsnider, Jeff Clevenger, Bob Campbell, and Mark Wilbur.
