Arnold Franklin Riley, 80, of Dry Branch Road passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2007 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

He was born on April 2, 1927 in Tamplin, West Virginia, a son of the late Willie Grant Riley and Angeline Ross Riley.

Mr. Riley was a retired tool and die maker for A. O. Smith in Mt. Sterling, a farmer and a United States Air Force veteran having served during World War II. He was of the Freewill Baptist Faith and enjoyed hunting, raising a garden and car racing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Riley, Homer Riley and Orie Riley and three sisters, Eloise Riley, Beatrice Riley Clark and Darlene Riley Logan.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, JoAnn Davis Riley of Morehead, two sons, Terry Riley and his wife, Doris of Yukon, Oklahoma and Jeffery Arnold Riley of Morehead, five daughters, Pam Riley Caudill and her husband, Larry of Anderson, Indiana, Lynn Riley Todd and her husband, Mark of Cadiz, Indiana, Rita Marie Riley Perdue, Kathy Lynn Riley and Mary Jean Riley Winfield and her husband, Tyrone all of Farmville, Virginia, special daughter, Kayla Miller of Farmville, Virginia, two brothers, James Norman Riley and his wife, Shirley of Morehead and Willie Jiles Riley of Greenfield, Indiana, four sisters, Elsie Glenna Riley Miller and her husband, Todge of Wilkinson, Indiana, Betty Lou Riley Pollitt, Freda Riley Russell and Naomi Joan Riley all of Madison, Alabama, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 2, 2007 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Miller and Rev. Robert Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery at Cranston. Full military rites will be conducted at the graveside by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. Visitation is from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Friday.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Riley, Chad Everett Riley, Dwight Edward Riley, Aaron Grant Riley,Ty Winfield and Brandon Winfield and honorary pallbearers will be Clay Clark, Harry Clark, Woody Clark, Rex Clark, Bob Tackett, Marvin Masters, Vernon Estep and Woody Allen Clark.
