Aaron Sturgill

Aaron Dale Sturgill, 54 of Grayson, Kentucky formerly of Morehead, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at the King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky after an illness of several weeks.

He was born June 26, 1967 in Rowan County, Kentucky to the late Ronnie Dale Sturgill and Brenda Sorrell Gregory.

Aaron was a truckdriver and had attended the Elliottville Baptist Church. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, golfing and hunting. He also enjoyed watching football  and was a Cincinnati Bengals fan.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a half-brother, Britt Sorrell and a half-sister. Stacy Sorrell.

Survivors include his son Cody Sturgill of Morehead and a half-brother, Kevin Sturgill of Morehead. Also, the mother of his son, Teresa Caudill of Morehead.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating.

Burial will follow in the Click Cemetery on Buffalo Branch Road.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead after 12 Noon Tuesday.

Pall bearers will be Kevin Sturgill, David Sloan, Austin Sloan, Zakery Sloan, Jimmy Harr and Mike Patrick.
