Cynthia Ann Nesbitt, 73, of Flemingsburg, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at her home.
She was born on April 7, 1945 in Bibb County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Don and Laura Mae Phillips Nesbitt.
Ms. Nesbitt was a former employee of Clearfield Elementary School and she had previously worked at the Dairy Queen, when it was owned by Jack and Mary Powell.
She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers and going to the beach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Donnie Scott Riddle, Jr. who passed away on April 25, 2011, one half-brother, Mark Nathan Nesbitt and one half-sister, Carol Smiley.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Hampton of Hueytown, Alabama, two sons, Dan Haines and Joe Wallace both of Flemingsburg, step-daughter, Evelyn Poor of Soldier, half-brother, David Nesbitt of Louisville, half-sister, Susan Cantrell of Winchester, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, special friends, Angela Caudill, Earline Jones, Tammy Jennings and April Warren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 12, 2018 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Clint Strickland officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bradley Cemetery at Soldier.
Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
